Hi There. Not sure why this notification of reply has only reached me now. My EoE lasted many months, perhaps 10-12 or so, and I developed multiple ulcers that were extr painful. Extensive allergy testing by clinical immunologist excluded all food causes. Conclusion was Rituximab induced. Last scope showed clearance 9 months after my final Rituximab. I found low dose oral steroids useful intermittently, plus Montelukast and antihistamines. PPI's afforded minimal relief, so I used them. Time was the best healer.
